Display advertising

Standard IAB formats: in-article billboard, half-page, and medium rectangle units on section and article pages. Sold by campaign, with reporting on impressions and viewability.

Newsletter sponsorship

A single sponsored placement per issue, marked as such, in any of our newsletters. Sponsorship does not influence the editorial content of the issue it appears in.

Paid features

A reported article about you or your company, written by our staff, published on the site and kept there permanently. Two packages:

Feature article — a reported piece of at least 600 original words, with an original photograph, published under a visible Paid Feature label, plus a permanent profile page collecting all of our coverage of you.
Feature, cover and social — everything above, plus an original cover image and a collaborative post from our Instagram account.

What a paid feature is and is not

It is original reporting, commissioned by its subject and disclosed as such. We interview you, we write it, and it is published under a Paid Feature label at the top of the article.

It is not an advertorial you write yourself, and it is not exempt from fact-checking. Claims we cannot verify do not run — including revenue figures, awards, and superlatives. We will tell you before publication if something has to come out.

Links you supply to your own sites and profiles are marked as sponsored. They still send readers to you. They do not pass search ranking signal, because links that do while being paid for are a violation of search engine policy that would put the whole publication at risk.
